About Us

Sunrise Creek Construction was founded in 2021 by Brian Davidson. The name Sunrise Creek Construction comes from Brian’s own back yard. Behind his house is a private creek that empties a couple of neighboring properties. The mornings make for a beautiful scene as you look out his back windows of his house to see the sunrise over the trees and the creek. Due to the amazing sight in the mornings, his wife decided to unofficially name the creek Sunrise Creek. In early 2021, Brian and his wife decided to start a small-time farm on the property, and that a fitting name would be Sunrise Creek Farms. When it came down to naming the newly formed construction company, Brian couldn’t think of a better name than Sunrise Creek Construction. Sunrise Creek will certainly be the go-to name for their family businesses from here on out.

Sunrise Creek Construction is a pole barn company that will do most anything for a post frame structure. We can provide all types of post frame structures from the back yard garage to the very detailed Equine project that includes stalls, tack rooms and wash rooms. Whatever your project might be Sunrise Creek can turn that vision into reality.

About Brian

Brian Davidson, owner, resides in Columbus Twp with his wife, Lyndsey, and two sons, Raikken and Tristan. Brian grew up and lived most of his life in the Richmond area. He graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School where he played Golf, Basketball and Baseball. Brian went on to earn a Bachelors degree from Central Michigan University in 2006. Brian has coached, umpired, and held many administrative roles within Richmond Little League, Richmond High, Cardinal Mooney, and the Blue Water Adult Baseball Club, and continues his love for baseball as a board member and coach at Richmond Little League.

Before building his own business, Brian started in the construction world working for his father in 1995 and continued with the family business until 2013. During his time at Mark Davidson Construction, he learned many ins and outs of residential construction, like rough framing, finished carpentry, windows, siding and roofing. In 2013, Brian took his abilities to Cowhy Construction where he framed houses for 9 months before taking a Superintendent position with Pulte Homes. In late 2014, Brian entered the sales world with Quality Lumber where he learned the design and sales aspect of construction. During that time, he learned how to use the kitchen and bath software program 20/20 and later purchased his own design software, Chief Architect, and began designing houses and providing blue prints for customers. Brian also broke a 30 year company record for one month sales that still stands today. In 2018, Brian began his biggest project, building his own home for his family while still working a full time job. It was during this project where Brian realized that he missed being hands on and decided to take his talents into the commercial carpentry world. He joined Local 687 and worked as a concrete form work carpenter and scaffold builder. In late 2021, he finally knew it was time to make his dream of owning his own company come true. With the abundance of work available, Brian saw that time as the perfect time to introduce Sunrise Creek Construction to Michigan.
